I've just set up the KnotCast Twitter feed. I figured Savrin and I can post off and on from the road to cons, at cons, etc. We'll figure it out. We haven't done this before since I hadn't really thought of what we'd use the account for, but now I had an idea.

So here it is: http://twitter.com/knotcast

Yay, it's online now. For those who are interested, please check out my interview/discussion with [livejournal.com profile] rikoshi about writing, his first novel, his next novel and various short stories. It's online now. :-)

MP3 format: http://www.foxstuffers.com/MP3/KnotCast%20Presents%20-%20Rikoshi%20the%20Writer%20Fox.mp3

AAC format: http://www.foxstuffers.com/KnotCast%20Presents%20-%20Rikoshi%20the%20Writer%20Fox.m4a

Here's the blurb from the show notes:

Rikoshi, or his slave name Kevin Frane, is not only a gay fox, he's a gay, writer fox. Fuzz and Rikoshi discuss the fox's first book, Thousand Leaves, as well as his short stories which have appeared in various anthologies and his upcoming plans. This episode starts out as an interview and ends up being a friendly discussion between two writers. We had fun recording this interview and we hope you find it interesting to listen to.

Here it is, the mother of all podcast lists. I've found URLs for most of them. Some have too vague or generic a name to really do a Google search without taking more time than I have available right now. If anyone here wants to add to this list or provide a URL where I've missed one, please feel free.

Anyway, I've started with the podcasts from the listener e-mails we read on air and have added the podcasts the cast mentioned at the end, including a couple from Panther via telefuck.

We did record an episode last week.

Savrin's iMac exploded, so we were down a machine. (It's getting repaired, but its not back from the shop yet.) We used panthers laptop instead, so it'll be out here soon. Fuzz did an interview with [livejournal.com profile] rikoshi on Sunday and it'll be available soon. :3

Sorry about going dark a week, but it's been kinda crazy. :D

Episode 64 has a topic though.

Tales! From! College! College is a time of crazy exploration and personal self-discovery. And I imagine the vast majority of our listeners are done with, went to, or in some cases, going to be in college soon.

What craziness did you encounter, what mistakes would you want others to avoid? What should people going to college do when looking for love?

NOTE from Fuzz: Sorry I'm so late in posting the topic for the next episode here. I'm not sure if we're recording this week or not due to MFM coming and we have the interview to release, but the College episode will be the next one we record so keep sending your e-mails in. We've already gotten quite a few. As usual, our e-mail at the show is KnotCast@Foxstuffers.com

Boldly going forward, cause we can't find reverse.

This week is about PODCASTS. Oh noes!

What furry podcasts do you listen to? What non-furry podcasts do you listen to? What do you like to hear?

And of course, any other questions you'd like answered.

So episode 60 is the end of 'volume 3', or season 3, or something like that. We don't produce things in seasons, but we do need to occasionally get feedback from our listeners.

So, episode 60 will be a feedback episode. If you've written in, did we give you good advice? What changes in the show or format do people want? Should we be unmade?

We're all ears.

This is also an open topic week.

Oops, I've been so busy I've been forgetting to copy/pasta the FA journals to this community. Sorry about that for anyone who follows us here as opposed to FA. Here's the topic for this week:

Two topics that go side by side this week.. Savrin asked in the IRC and got some good light ideas.

"Lion King VS Kimba the White Lion: The World's Most Retarded Arguments!"
What are the most retarded arguments you've ever had? Chuck Norris VS Bruce Lee? Superman VS Goku? Krystal v Renamon? Sabrina Vs Zig-Zag? This is more fandom related than RL, but even then, there's a lot of meat there.
"What would make a respectable furry-centric tv show or movie?"
We'd like to know. X3

And just a reminder for our newer listeners, our show e-mail address is KnotCast@Foxstuffers.com and our forum is http://Forum.Foxstuffers.com, hosted by Anthropodcast.com.

In this episode of KnotCast Presents, Fuzz is joined by four members of the creative team behind Heathen City volume 2. Writer Alex Vance and artists Blue Panther, Krahnos and Vahn Fox discuss the creative process involved with a team of international artists with very different styles.

Heathen City 2 will debut at Anthrocon and will be available at the FurPlanet tables in the dealers room. Stop by, buy a copy, have Krahnos and Vahn sign it and meet some KnotCast cast members.

Since we're in the middle of the convention season now, this weeks show is going to be about conventions. Each time a member of the cast has gone to a con this year, we've been sure to give a report of some sort.

What about you? What cons have you, the listener, attended and enjoyed? This is a chance for you to talk about what you liked and didn't like about conventions far and wide, but please play at least a little nice. ;)

Also, Savrin was amused at the thought of a French Revolution con theme. 90% of attendees would be commoners, 10% nobles, toss in some cake that isn't a lie and a nerf guillotine and it'd be delightful. Or at least in his mind... what are your more offbeat and strange con theme ideas? Surely we can do better than a year of 4 '______ Safari' themed ones!

This is an episode for all the nerds. Finding love in the glow of an old monitor, text describing things impossible.

This episode is all about finding love in the strangest of places. Within the realms of MUCKs, MUDs, and the vidya.

Text can say so much, but have you ever made those things happen in the real world? Have you ever hooked up with someone over text-only worlds and then met? Has anything serious come of one such juncture? And not just those, but what about meeting up via SL or WoW?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Make sure to send in your emails, topical or not, in by 7pm CST this Thursday. :3

Yes, KnotCast now has it own forum, sort of. :-)

We're now part of Anthropod.org. Anthropod.org is a site created by Flain Falcon (formerly of ClawCast) which hosts a bunch of furry podcasts and has user forums for fans of each show. I think its a really neat idea as I think the idea of having a community site for furry podcasts. Not to pat ourselves on the back too much, but KC has a decent-sized listener base and we're hoping to bring some of our listeners to this site so they can use it, join the furry podcasting community and maybe get some crossover fans with the other shows hosted there.

What we get out of this is a forum, which some of our listeners have asked for, which we don't have to set up ourselves, yay. :-)

Anyway, here's the URL: http://www.anthropodcast.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=56

If you're a fan of the show, please go check it out. I started an intro thread so sign up and say hello. :-)

So episode 50 covered what brought you here.

Episode 51 is all about what keeps you here.

With things looking grim from time to time, what keeps you in the magical realm of the furries?

This weeks, it's episode five oh! Holy freaking crap, we've been doing this for 50 full episodes, not to mention the various special releases and recordings. Not a bad run so far!

This week we're going to do the topic of Finding the Fandom we had intended for episode 49. This week will be far more lulzy. So! Write in if you haven't, and if you have, we've got the stack of em printed and sitting next to Savrin's desk in the studio.

We might even reveal one of The Rules. :D

Episode 50, ahoy!

So here we are, in the dirty, naughty, and oh so evil furry fandom. We were normal once, people looking on the internet and findin' pictures of dog people fuckin'. Then things changed...

Seriously though, this weeks topic is all about what brought you to the fandom in the first place. We've all been in this mess pretty long, and we all have our tales to tell, but everyone has their own story to tell, and if its strange, odd, or just funny, we'd like to hear from you.

Additionally, we'll address some of the emails we got over our position on the Ursa Majors. Won't that be fun!

This week on KnotCast, Savrin, Zap, and Fuzz will be joined by Wolff and Horses Ghost of Sub-Level 03 to talk about... Pet Peeves! Not the cute critters of the webcomic 'Bunny', but those tiny little things your mate does that annoy you, but aren't major.

This is going to be a more lighthearted show, poking a little fun at our mates, but we love em. So what does your s.o. do that drives you nuts? Inquisitive Knotcasters want to know. ;)

E-mail your questions and comments to KnotCast@Foxstuffers.com

This shows topic is what a lot of furries do a lot of the time. Typefuckin'.

Question is, where did you get your start and why? The KnotCasters have stories to tell, I'm sure, but for a lot of us it was our first non-self bit of sexual interaction. Sure, it was text, but how did that affect you? Do you think that such things lead to unrealistic expectations of real life sex? Have your online interactions resulted in RL adventure? Inquisitive foxes want to know. ;)

Remember, e-mail your questions and comments to KnotCast@Foxstuffers.com

In my busy rush of a life these past few days, I didn't realize that we'd just recorded the first episode of our second year.

According to iTunes, episode 1 went out on 2/29/08, so episode 44 puts us at just over a year in production now. Not bad for something that started as a simple joke and snowballed from there. :-)

"Viva Las Vegas!"

At what point do you make your relationship 'for realz'. With or without a ceremony, couples do this at a certain point. At what point would you, or have you done this? What requirements need to be met? Considering that 3/4 of the standard cast are in long term relationships...we're interested to hear from you.
